Full plate week
I'm off to tonight's event. Christopher Penczak has written a book for us entitled 'Gay Witchcraft', He will be at A Different Light in the Castro in SF tonight at 7:30PM to talk about this book. I've got to do some birthday shopping for a friend while in the Castro. Tomorrow I have another event at Booksmith, and will go to a Tuvan throat singing performance on Friday. I have an EGullet potluck on Saturday night in Napa. And I'll hit the Alternative Press Expo (APE) on Sunday.

Hot, sexy, geeks...help me!
I am trying to get my I-Sync and my Hotsync to talk to each other so that I can use my Visor with the I-Book. I have Panther, the new OS, which has been pretty good and I was hoping that it would be more functional with my sync software. It's a happy thing that I have been fortunate enough to have dated bright, geeky people, which has helped me inthe past. I have called Palm and as I had asked them this question solely to find out whether I needed to purchase something, they didn't charge me for the call. I shouldn't have to buy a new device when this one is only a year (okay, maybe two) old. Maybe I do need a new one.

[Link] | Today we are doing a big promotional mailing to top clients. In between, I am making calls to nail down event and lecture schedules and planning through April. I find that I have to plan a caledar with work first, then personal time. It seems that personal interaction and events do usually have a business tie. Maybe it means that my life and work are starting to mesh. I enjoy it all, but need to stay focused, think ahead and be present.
Tonight I will drop my donation items off at Out of the Closet (benefits AIDS research) and head over to see Dr Bill for much-needed bodywork.

[Link] | It's after 1:00AM and I've had a pleasant evening. I had preferred a low profile, so I am actually that Kayla was my date for a beautiful dinner tonight. I had asked a sweet friend to join us, but ended up being happy to relax alone after dinner and champange afterward. It would have been cool to curl up in front of the fire together, but maybe next year...

[Link] | Woke up late, so I am sitting here in my glasses and still wearing a pajama top. Took my first sleeping pill last night and am still hoping to become conscious.
After work I am meeting a girlfriend for dinner. I sincerely hope I am somewhat coherent by then. How do people take these on a consistent basis?
